Machu Picchu Pictures, Page 1

We're waiting for the bus to take us to the train which would take us to Aguas Calientes,
the town at the base fo Machu Picchu.

I'm still waiting for the train.

Finally! Here comes the train. Oh, wait...they have to put it together.

We're in line for the bus up to Machu Picchu at 5:00 a.m. It's raining. I'm feeling full of despair...did we come all this way to see Machu Picchi in the rain? No!

We're touring Machu Picchu, but there's a lot of rain and fog. I hope it's going to get
better. We're still seeing a lot of awesome things, but it would be better if the weather
would improve.

These walls have stood for hundreds of years. The Incas built everything without the
benefit of heavy equipment, machines, or computers.

This represents a condor, one of the Incas' revered birds. The head and body are on
the ground and the wings are the rocks rising up on either side.

This would have been the inside of a house or other building. There would have
been a grass roof during the time of the Incas.
