| Why
the Mantis is #7 on my list... Besides being a fantastic stand-up coaster, this is just a great coaster all around. Every time I stand in line, I notice that the train makes a sound as it goes along the track. This sound is not intentional, but it fits the ride. It is a really creepy groaning sound. That sound gets me pumped for the ride. Standing on a coaster is a great way to ride it. The height and speed of this ride, plus all the inversions equal a fantastic breath-taking experience. The wait for this ride always seems long, but once I ride, it all seems worth it! |
